All our studios are completely accessible and carefully adapted for the wheelchair user, less able bodied and the more able visitor.

In each studio you will find a roll in shower room, grab rails, accessible vanity units etc.  The shower rooms have wall mounted shower seats.

The level access shower rooms have grab rails in various locations to assist with standing/dressing or for peace of mind for the guests.

The toilet itself has grab rails on either side which allows a left or right handed transfer for ease for the disabled visitor or those with reduced mobility.

All doors, either entrance or interior are between 90 and 110cm wide (standard doors are approximately 70cms wide). Again, this makes life so much easier for all concerned.

Space is of importance as anybody who uses a wheelchair will understand.  Here at the studios, space is not a problem.

There is plenty of room for manoeuvrability throughout, and this ensures that both the wheelchair users and any other visitor enjoys the comfort of their surroundings.

It is essential, we feel, that the wheelchair user feels at ease and at home in our studios.

We have pool facing studios (nos 5, 6, 7 or 8)  as well as garden facing studios where perhaps a visitor would prefer to have a little more shade. (nos 2, 3 or 4)  These have a sheltered patio area and prove to be 'the' place to relax and unwind on an evening. Studios numbered 6 and 7, and 2 and 3 have interconnecting doors.

All studios have equipped kitchenettes complete with microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and utensils etc

Central heating is installed in each studio as well as air conditioning (paid locally)

The studios are equipped with a television.

Studios with no balconies (s17 and s19)     We do have smaller studios that has all the same furnishings, kitchenette, roll in shower room etc that the one and two bedroom apartments have, but they do not have a private balcony. However it does have additional seating for that 'alfresco' touch on the main corridor  at the entrance to your studio (see picture above). Personally I feel that if you are manual wheelchair user or perhaps an accomplished power chair user (small to medium size chair), this studio is perfect for your needs.  There is of course the restaurant downstairs if you prefer to dine and be catered for occasionally.

Equipment such as scooters, power chairs, commodes, hoists, electric beds, bed levers, air mattress, rollators, etc are available on site for hire. (pre booking is essential)

Please note that for safety reasons smoking is prohibited in all rooms.

Wireless Internet connection is available for those wishing to bring their laptop with them.

Well lit, underground parking bays are available as is a lift to take you to your required floor level.

The toilet heights is 45cm but raised toilet seats should they be required are available at no charge.

The reason I appear in most of the photos is not because I am photogenic, but to ensure you that I have tested the "situations" personally - as a wheelchair user
